I think this is going to be a big thing! Given brings the power of Google Search + AI Overviews/Mode and make the information more actionable & as Gemini is the one who will be coordinating these actions I think these Gemini Agents can be really useful for doing different tasks.

Also I think this can be helpful for SEO related work too! Like right now most of AI integration in my SEO workflows runs in the cloud – Perplexity and Gemini DeepResearch.

But with these Gemini Agents I think more of those tasks and computation will come to local computation.

A set up like Gemini Agents which can bring in information from web (using AI Mode/Overviews) and then can use tooling available on my M4 Macbook its going to be great I think. And over time I hope that Google also integrate local models like Gemma with these Gemini Agents.
