Funny enough just today I was trying to cancel my subscription for Gemini Advanced which is costing me around 20 USD a month but can’t even find the option to cancel it. Later on I realised that Google has hidden the option to cancel this subscription, NO there is no option to cancel it.
Rather you would need to downgrade your plan for cancelling Gemini Advanced subscription.
So here’s what you need to do – just make sure that your logged in as gmail account that you used for purchasing Gemini Advanced subscription.
– Go to https://one.google.com/
– Then look for setting icon in top right corner it should be on left of your profile photo in top right corner – click on it.
– Look for “Change Membership plan” this will open up a carousel
– Then scroll down and look for “See more plans” click on it, this will open couple of more options
– There you will see “More Options” and just below it there will be options to downgrade to Basic (100 GB), Standard (200 GB) and Premium (2TB)
– Select the one which you is right for you, make sure that you are not downgrading to a plan which is not enough for your current storage usage which can be check on https://one.google.com/ there is a rectangle in which its shown how much storage your currently using.
– After clicking on downgrade you would need to click on subscribe and make sure that appropriate payment card is selected – over there you will also see when the next subscription will start from until then you can enjoy using Gemini Advanced or if your like me I would recommend trying Perplexity premium.
Also I created screenshots of these same steps – if you can’t find somethings that I have mentioned in the steps above – might be worth checking these screenshots for knowing how to look for these specific elements on pages.

Also I recorded a video going through these same steps – you can check it out here.
