Back in October I noticed Google showing “What people are saying” scrollable carousel in search results showing content from social media. Earlier it used to showing up for generic informational queries but now I’m noticing it for ecommerce queries too.

Google is now testing showing Generative AI generated “People also search for”. This is how it looks and here is a screen recording of search results showing this. I finds this funny that search feature is named as “People also search for” but Google is now using AI to show info in this then how come its people also search it should be what AI think people also search for.

For movies or tv shows in search results Google shows Audience reviews which are submitted there by Search users and now Google is showing AI Overviews generated summary of those reviews.
