Yesterday while doing some data digging I noticed that certain sites started to decline on 29th May. And while doing further analysis of data I noticed its happening for a lot of sites – which is surprising given there isn’t any ongoing search ranking update from Google that they have announced recently. But others have also been reporting volatility in search results exactly on 29th May idk if these are early signs of an upcoming core update.

And even today when I got some time. I further did analysis of some country level data that I’m tracking and noticed that in different countries there is a big shuffling of large sites which happened or started to happen on 29th May.

Have been doing more data digging across different country level search results and again noticing significant patterns of declines on 29th May? – seems like a big update to ranking systems? In general over the month of May I have been noticing a lot of volatility in search results and that’s why I was expecting Google to roll out a core update earlier in the month of May but so far there is none.

I’m not sure if there will be a core update or not soon!! Just need to wait and see what Google do!
