AI Mode - Google testing some new UI/UX elements (Oct 2025)

Seems like starting yesterday Google has launched too many tests around how the answer is presented in AI Mode.

I’m seeing a lot of differences and others too are sending me stuff about this.

Here are some some of those new features

Compare Google Business Profiles (GBPs)

🆕 AI Mode now testing functionality to select Google Business Profiles (GBPs) mentioned in an answer and ask a follow up about all the selected ones!

Local search results map being moved from bottom of answer to top

🆕 AI Mode – for local intent queries Google is now testing showing Map at the top of answer.
Earlier map was just showing up at bottom – probably because of system level instructions that Google has setup for AI Mode but now Google is adjust it. pic.twitter.com/xpnoYqkBrR
