YouTube channel posts now showing up in Google Discover – can’t say if it’s a test or a rollout cuz I have confirmed with Discover users from multiple countries & a lot of them are seeing these in their feeds starting yesterday.
These show up with the title “Post from channel name ……” like “Post from CNBC …..”
And the featured image is usually a static shot of gif/video or image that channel creator has posted with some text.

Also I’ve posted screen recording showing this in action on X.
There is a LOT going on in Google Discover nowadays – that’s why I’m seeing across publishers and regions I’m seeing traffic is too volatile. And I guess in next couple of months we will see more of content types and socials in Google Discover.
Because in recent blog post Google mentioned this “wherever they post”. That’s why I think we will see more of social content and links in Google Discover which not only goes to usual webpages but specific features of social platforms.

Also Googler Rajan Patel last month confirmed that they are testing various approaches around showing X content in Discover, I guess probably they are also testing different approaches for other other socials too then.
That’s why I think best Discover strategy now is to post everywhere! That’s the way to stand more chances of getting into feeds of users.
