Google Discover – Daily Hub feature! Way more personalised than the feed we have right now and Google is adding in more content types too!
Will be really helpful feature I think and exclusive person level personalisation may be lead to better CTR for content which Google going to show in there. I noticed this new feature via this X post from Damien.
Also later Damien shared this screenshot with me showing how the settings for this Daily Hub feature look in Google App.
For “How it works” Google is saying its “Tailored for you” and “Relevant for your day”
- “Tailored for you” – Content is curated based on your Web & App activity, Youtube History, App Usage, Calendar, Device Location …..
- “Relevant for your day” – Your space adapts with summaries and suggestions from Gemini & Magic Cue, content from Play Apps, Weather, Calendar, and Maps.
And I think with such a highly personalised feed Google Discover (or Google App in general) might be becoming The Everything App
