Google discover on iOS devices is testing a new UI for the feed cards.
I noticed this on X.

Google Discover got an aesthetic update. Looks like it shows topics you’re following (the purple checkmark) with one primary article then 2+ other articles shown in a carousel.

If an article is “newsy,” it shows a green clock.

Here is how this new design looks like

Broad Picture Google keeps on making changes in Google Discover, due to which traffic to different publisher sites is never stable – its always going up and down. Even recently I’m noticing significant declines in Google Discover visibility of sites that I’m working with. Others are also noticing same. I think that these new design tests for iPhone devices might affect visibility/click through rates for publishers.

Is Google Discover feed on android also changing No.
I use Google Disocver on my Pixel 6 Pro and there’s not any change execpt recently Google is testing showing a floating & sticky search bar. I’m not sure if that might also affect how users interact with feed and click through to different sites.

Zoom out Recently Google has been making a lot of changes in search results as is clear from Semrush Sensor which is always high showing that a lot of changes in search results rankings are going on and we already know that any change in search also affect how different sites get with visibility in Google discover.

So if you are also noticing a lot of ups and downs in your Google’s discover Search Console reports your not only one.
