For links to SERPs in AI Overviews -> Google testing appending anchor to the base query and showing the results for that.
Like search for “how to do seo for a small business in melbourne” in AI Overviews there is a link to SERPs with anchor “Google My Business listing”
Clicking it shows the new SERPs for “how to do seo for a small business in melbourne Google My Business listing”
base query + anchor clicked
While in search box it shows the anchor only but below it Google is mentioning that these results are for base query + anchor clicked
And below it Search instead for (anchor) which is clickable and clicking it opens the regular results for that anchor as search query.

Above I just shared the most common query rewriting which I’m noticing base query + anchor clicked but there are few other variations as well which I have shared on X.
Also mostly its just base query + anchor clicked

But sometimes Google is doing query rewriting too
Like for this one
base query = "how to do seo for a small business in new york"
anchor = "Local Keywords"
While when I clicked anchor in the new results for "Showing results for… pic.twitter.com/OorKPF1IFL
